We met this past Sunday for the first time as the Honduras team for our upcoming trip this summer. It was awesome to see the people God brought together for this trip and I know Kevin Jr and Kylie were excited to see someone else their age going on the trip too! While the majority of the meeting served as a trip overview and get to know you session, we did learn some very specific facts, including that while in Honduras we CAN'T flush toilet paper! Something we take for granted each day will be an important thing for each of us to remember while there that week. Over the next few months, we will continue to meet as a team and learn ways to help versus hurting while on a short-term mission. Please pray for our hearts and minds to be open to the things we need to learn before going!
